Current Upright Bass student of Jazz Studies at the University of Maryland, as well as College of Southern Maryland Music Program Graduate and founding President of both New Music at UMD and New Music at CSM, Carter Falkenstein is an accomplished composer, arranger, music theorist, songwriter, and bassist. He has written scores for multiple films, video games, and composition jams, and has years of experience playing bass in many ensembles, from jazz big bands and combos to pit orchestras, or from chamber showcases to hard rock and metal bands.
